Mr. Brawn has been the Chairman and a director of Grande Cache Coal Corporation since March 2001. Mr. Brawn has over 52 years of experience in resource extraction industries. He serves as a director of a number of TSX listed public companies including Black Diamond Group Ltd, and Parkland Fuel Corporation. Mr. Brawn is a director of a number of private Corporations including the Brawn Family Foundation and Bow River Ranch. Mr. Brawn is also the chairman of Alberta Economic Development Authority and a member of the Premiers Council for Economic Strategy. Mr. Brawn has been the President of 1573568 Alberta Ltd., a private investment corporation since May 30, 2003. Mr. Brawn received a B.Sc. (Eng.) from the University of Alberta in 1958.

Mr. Stan has been involved in the Canadian coal industry since 1979, during which time he has developed an extensive knowledge of the international coal industry and markets. He has held senior management positions with several Canadian mining companies, including Fording Coal Limited, Westar Mining Ltd., Teck Corporation and Smoky River Coal Limited (SRCL). Mr. Stan was appointed a director of Grande Cache Coal Corporation in July 2000 and was appointed President of Grande Cache Coal Corporation in February 2001 and Chief Executive Officer of Grande Cache Coal Corporation in September 2002. Mr. Stan currently serves as the Chairman of the Coal Association of Canada; he is a member of the International Energy Agency’s Coal Industry Advisory Board and is a member the Alberta Economic Development Authority. Mr. Stan received a B.Comm. from the University of Saskatchewan.

Mr. Davies has been a director of Grande Cache Coal Corporation since July 2000. He is a graduate in mining engineering from the Camborne School of Mines in Cornwall, United Kingdom with over 30 years experience in mineral exploration, mine development, operations and corporate management. During more than 20 years with the BHP Group he held senior management positions with responsibility for exploration and development projects in Southeast Asia and South Africa and was Vice President Strategic Planning and Development for BHP Minerals in Australia. Mr. Davies is the President of Rudgear Holdings Ltd (a private investment company) and a director of EMC Metals Corp. (TSX:EMC).

Mr. Douglas has been a director of Grande Cache Coal Corporation since March 2001. Mr. Douglas is the President of United Inc., a private property development Corporation, a position which he has held since it commenced operations in July 1993. Mr. Douglas has also been, and continues to be, a director of numerous investment and management companies in Alberta, and serves as a director of certain non-profit and charitable organizations. In addition, Mr. Douglas has served as a director and audit committee member of a number of publicly listed companies and currently serves as a director of PFB Corporation, TRAFINA Energy Ltd. and Whitemud Resources Inc. Mr. Douglas holds a Masters of Business Administration from IMEDE Management Development Institute in Lausanne, Switzerland and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta.

Mr. Kirton has been a director of Grande Cache Coal Corporation since January 2009. Mr. Kirton was a partner with KPMG LLP, Chartered Accountants, from 1976 through to his retirement from the firm in 2004. Mr. Kirton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from Bishop's University, received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1969 and was made a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants in 1996. Mr. Kirton previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of both KPMG and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. In addition to Grande Cache Coal, Mr. Kirton currently serves on the Board of Directors of Gran Tierra Energy Inc. (NYSE Alternext and TSX), Canexus Corporation (TSX) and Essential Energy Services Ltd. He also serves on the Board of Governors of the University of Calgary and the Board of Directors of the Canadian Investor Protection Fund.(TSX-V). He also serves on the Board of Governors of the University of Calgary and the Board of Directors of the Canadian Investor Protection Fund.

Mr. Morgan has been a director of Grande Cache Coal Corporation since July 2006. Mr. Morgan is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Infinito Gold Ltd. since January 2004, a junior gold mining and exploration company focusing on exploration and development in Latin and South America. From June 2003 until December 2003, Mr. Morgan was an independent consultant providing mineral advisory services. Prior thereto, Mr. Morgan was Vice President Operations of Carbones del Guasare S.A., Venezuela, from May 1999 to May 2003. Mr. Morgan's experience in the coal industry includes exploration, development, operations and corporate management including over 20 years with Manalta Coal Ltd. which was the largest coal company in Canada until 1998. Mr. Morgan holds a B.Sc. Geology from the University of British Columbia.
